Maintaining my mental wellbeing can be a challenge. It has been rough dealing with the ups and downs throughout my life. One minute I am in a chipper mood, and the next I'm feeling down and out. I know that having the right mindset is the first step towards having a better day. So I continue to work on it and encourage my clients as well. Allowing the mind to be filled with thoughts of fear or dread will only keep you in that mental state. I don’t allow myself to stay there too long as it keeps me from being the amazing person I truly am. I’m getting better and better each day by starting with a few deep breaths and then taking time to mention what I am most grateful for in that moment. I take the first opportunity in the morning when I first wake up. I speak it into the universe, “good morning, thank you for allowing me to wake up and here's to trying again, thank you for my health, my son, my family, thank you for the sun, for water, food, electricity…” My lis...
